Animated Logo
Definitely Mabie Design! Never thought I’d become a business owner, but 2020 brought change in more than a few ways. To christen the founding of the budding LLC, I thought an animated logo was in order.
Title Sequence
Nowadays I’m riding down the mountain with a snowboard for each foot, but it all started with a burton board, a few pieces of plywood, and a .5 degree slope loaded with piles of extra snow from the rest of the backyard. Ski and snowboard culture, especially videos, has heavily influenced my design style, and to pay homage to that I made a video of my own in the form of a title sequence for Burton’s 2020 athlete film, One World. The majority of the process was spent storyboarding, chopping riders up in Photoshop, and “studying” a few hundred of my favorite rider videos from the past.

March 2018 marked the beginning of Fleet Feet Madison’s first trail running program where over 30 runners trained for a half marathon through the Lapham Peak State Park wilderness over the course of 10 weeks. Founded by myself with the help of some awesome coworkers and friends, the program has continued to grow and fill the forest with stories, smiles and sweat. This explainer video shows a little bit of who the Dairyland Dirtbags are and what we’re all about.
